Introduction:

Applied Strategic HR management (SHRM) is a process by which the top HR management of an organization envisions its future and develops the procedures and operations necessary to achieve that future.



Organizations need SHRM because economic conditions, consumer expectations, competition, and many other factors change rapidly in today’s world. SHRM is very different from long-range planning or forecasting, and it is more than anticipating the future and trying to prepare for it. SHRM helps the organization to create its future.
