Everybody who works for Projacs International, anywhere, is responsible for
health, safety and environment. It is as critical to the success of our
business as cost, time and quality.
People are our most important asset and we recognize that their health, safety
and welfare, and that of others affected by our activities, is paramount.
Equally, we accept our responsibility to minimize environmental impact by
controlling waste, reducing pollution, using energy efficiently and acting as
good neighbors.
Our goal is simply stated - to eliminate accidents and harm to people, the
environment and the business. As a minimum, wherever we operate in the world,
we will comply with legislation and work with our Clients, Consultants,
Contractors and Regulators to raise the standards of the industry. Our
performance, good and bad will be openly reported.
We have appointed staff who are competent and encourage their personal
development through regular appraisal, guidance, training and recognition.
Awareness of best practice and statutory requirements will be promoted by
management systems, communications, consultation, auditing and expert advice.
The President of Projacs International is the director responsible for
monitoring and regularly reviewing this policy. Each director is responsible
for its implementation and for the provision of financial and physical
resources. Line management is accountable for its practical application at the
workplace, supported by adequately resourced company specialists. All
employees, on their part, are encouraged to contribute actively through
established participation procedures.
Our business plans include measurable targets to strive to continuously improve
our performance.
We are all committed to meeting them.
